Welcome to Essentially for Women, its great to have you with us. Essentially for Women is the perfect place for you to connect with women around the world to share ideas and offer one another support in business and life. Our goal is to make EFW online the premier site for women offering sensational networking opportunities, peer support and valuable online resources. To ensure you get the most out of EFW online we have put together some tips to help you on your way. We trust you will enjoy being part of this online community.

YOUR PERSONAL PROFILE

This is the first contact people have with you and we all know that first impressions count. Take the time to complete your profile so that other members can learn more about you. An incomplete profile may prevent people from taking you and your business seriously so I encourage you to spend a few moments completing your profile. Don't forget to upload a photo of yourself too. This does not need to be a professional photo it just needs to be one you like.

MANAGING EMAILS

Now that you have completed your profile its time to decide how much or how little mail you wish to receive. If you want to receive the MINIMUM amount of mail we recommend you change your email settings and check the following boxes only:-

• Messages sent to me
• Messages sent to whole network
• 
  Once you have checked these boxes you must click save at the bottom of the email settings page.
  The next step is to choose whether you follow the activity in your forum discussions, groups and blogs. If you do not wish to receive emails when people add comments you must click stop following at the bottom of the page you are adding comments to. If you decide you want to stop following comments on all discussions go to change your email settings and check the box that says "Clear my Follow List". Once you have done this don't forget to click save at the bottom of the email settings page.
  
  These are ways that will help to alleviate too much mail. If on the other hand you like getting heaps of mail choose the default settings and you will be kept informed about all the activity across the network.

INVITE YOUR FRIENDS

Once you have created your own profile, its time to invite your friends to join in the fun. Simply click on the "Invite Friends" button to the right of the screen and enter in the email addresses of friends, family & work colleagues. The more people that know about EFW, the more we all benefit, so don't be shy - invite everyone you know.
